EMCEEMIND’S 5 ELEMENTS OF A STORY

Whether you’re lyrical, poetic or just like to have fun and freestyle on the mic you must have the ability to create a story. ON THE FREEDOM OF MC RICKY D, SLICK RICK! I repeat: You must have the ability to create a story. Its in our blood. Every convo we have is a story, but when you’re writing/freestyling rhymes or writing songs you need to be more descript in order to convey your message across as clearly and entertaining as possible! The “Story” takes the listener on a journey with you. It gives them the ability to see through your eyes events which may be factual or fictitious! but non the less important enough to tell. Here from http://www.emceemind.com Ryan breaks down the 5 elements of a story. Now you may not want to write a book or be the next Snoop, or Ghostface but you don’t want to sound like you’re 3 years old either when you’re trying to get someone to “Listen!”
